Inspired by the profound work and philosophy of Dr. Schweitzer, AGAAS (Albert Schweitzer Gabonese Association of Friends) celebrates its third anniversary. This organization has emerged to embrace the responsibility of nurturing humanist ideals and perpetuating the impactful work initiated by Dr. Schweitzer through the MODE association (Moyen Ogooué Development and Ecology) with broader, global aspirations.

Our association perpetuates Dr. Albert Schweitzer's legacy through humanitarian missions, promoting compassion, care, and humanity's well-being.
Although our association is administratively young, it has been shaped over numerous years by the ideas and efforts of Dr. Albert Schweitzer.
The AGAAS wishes the multiplication of united citizenships and charitable actions, on the basis of the Schweitzerian principle of Respect for life.
